On December 20-21, the 2025 Annual Conference and Lingnan Architecture Forum of the Lingnan Architecture Professional Committee of The Architectural Society of China, was successfully held in Hansen Hall, Caihe Architecture Building of South China University of Technology, with the theme of Rural Revitalization and Urban Renewal.
Academicians, masters, experts and scholars in the field of architecture, industry elites, and members of the Lingnan Architecture Professional Committee gathered together to deeply explore the integration path of Lingnan architecture inheritance and innovation under the background of the new era, contributing to the high-quality development of urban and rural areas. Eric Shing was invited to speak on the annual conference of the GDREA
On 18th December, 2025, the Annual Member Conference of Guangdong Real Estate Association was successfully held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou - Science City that is designed by Shing & Partners. The conference gathered nearly 400 representatives from relevant government departments, housing associations, real estate enterprises, industry chain enterprises, experts, scholars, and media to jointly explore new paths for high-quality development in the industry.
Eric Shing, member of the Expert Committee of Guangdong Real Estate Association, the member of jury of the 1st Good House Scheme Design Competition, Chairman and Chief Architect of Shing & Partners, was invited to attend the event and give a presentation. He also presented the gold award for the first Good House Scheme Design Competition.

Eric Shing talks with global architectural leaders in Dubai
In November 2025, Dubai Design Week grandly kicks off. Eric Shing, founder and chief architect of spdg, was invited to attend three international events - the UAE-UK-China Forum co-hosted by ArAsia, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the RIBA Middle East Awards Ceremony, and a roundtable discussion jointly initiated by RIBA and China Harbour Middle East Office, where he engaged in in-depth dialogue with experts from the global architecture industry.
The forum interprets new design trends and explores new possibilities for industry development from diverse perspectives of China, the UK, and Arab countries.
