This project is the former site of an industrial construction in Haidian District, Beijing. On the basis of preserving the original framework, the surface of building has been updated with the use of modern materials, which intends to highlight the contrast between modern and industrial elements.The solution adopts large-area glass windows to maximise natural lighting and ventilation, in order to save energy consumption and enhance human comfort.
